Tuna and Rice
Tuna And Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. margarine or butter, 1 c. chopped onion, 1 (10 oz.) pkg. cream of chicken soup, 1/8 tsp. pepper and 1 (12 1/2 oz. or 9 1/4 oz.) can tuna, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Melt margarine in large skillet (medium-high heat).
Add onion.
Cook until tender, not browned.
Stir in vegetables, milk, soup and pepper.
Bring to boil.
Stir in tuna, rice and parsley. Cover.
Remove from heat.
Let stand 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
Add almonds, if desired.
