Trudy's Pound Cakes
Trudy'S Pound Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 8 large eggs, 3 c. plain flour, 2 3/4 c. sugar, 1 c. butter flavor crisco and 1 stick margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Cream sugar, Crisco and margarine together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, and beat well after each.
Add flour alternately with milk, starting with flour and ending with flour.
Add vanilla.
Pour in greased and lightly floured 10-inch tube pan.
Put in cold oven and bake at 325Β° for 1 hour and 20 minutes (longer, if needed).
