Tropical Slush
Tropical Slush is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 18 minutes. Made with c. water, divided, medium ripe bananas, c. sugar, (12 oz.) cans frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed and (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
In a blender container, process 1 cup of water, bananas and sugar until smooth.
Pour into a large container; add the concentrates, pineapple juice and remaining water.
Cover and freeze.
Remove from freezer 2 hours before serving.
Just before serving, break up and mash mixture with a potato masher.
Stir in soda.
Yield: to 50 servings (about 11 quarts).
