Tropic Aroma Cake
Tropic Aroma Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening or oil, 1 1/4 c. sugar, 2 beaten eggs, 1 c. milk and 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Need 3 layer pans (I use foil ones).
Mix sugar, shortening and eggs.
Add flour, baking powder and spices alternately with milk.
Pour 2/3 of the batter into 2 greased layer pans. To remaining mixture, add 1 tablespoon cocoa mixed with boiling water. This will be the middle layer.
Pour into third greased pan. Bake at 375Β° about 20 minutes.
Frost with Mocha Icing between layers and on top.
