Triple Layer Cookies
Triple Layer Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine or butter, 1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs, 1 (7 oz.) pkg. flaked coconut (2 2/3 c.), 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk (eagle brand) and 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 350° (325° for glass dish).
In a 9 x 13-inch baking pan, melt margarine in oven. Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs evenly over melted margarine. Top evenly with coconut, then sweetened milk.
Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt chips with peanut butter. Spread evenly over hot coconut layer. Garnish as desired. Store in loosely covered dish at room temperature.
Makes 24 to 36 bars.
