Trade Winds Salad
Trade Winds Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. macaroni, 2 tbsp. brown sugar, 1 large can pineapple chunks, 1/2 c. chopped green pepper and 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In large skillet, melt margarine with brown sugar.
Add luncheon meat which has been chopped.
Cook and stir until golden brown.
In large bowl combine cooked macaroni, luncheon meat, drained pineapple chunks, cheese and green pepper.
Stir together mayonnaise, sour cream (may use pineapple yogurt), pineapple juice and salt.
Add to macaroni mixture and mix well.
Chill thoroughly.
Serve on lettuce.
Makes 8 servings.
