Tomato Pie
Tomato Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 or 6 tomatoes, peeled and drained (i used 2 cans whole tomatoes), 1/4 c. chopped onion, basil and oregano to taste, 1 c. sharp cheddar cheese and 1 c. mozzarella cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Bake 1 deep-dish pie shell for 10 minutes at 400°. Slice tomatoes on bottom of pie shell.
Sprinkle basil and oregano to taste over tomatoes.
Spread onion on top of tomatoes.
Mix mayo and cheese and spread over pie.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
