Tomato Pie
Tomato Pie is an moderately easy dessert you can prepare in about 1 hour 6 minutes. Made with tomatoes with peeled skins (fresh garden grown only), biscuits, already cooked, butter, salt and pepper, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Preheat oven to 350Β°.
On the bottom of a casserole dish, put a layer of tomatoes.
Salt and pepper.
Then slice biscuits. Butter them and layer on top of tomatoes.
Repeat layering tomatoes, salt and pepper and biscuits with butter until you put a final layer of buttered biscuits on top.
Place in oven uncovered and cook for 25 to 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
