Tomato Meat Loaf
Tomato Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1 c. whole wheat cereal flakes or 4 slices bread crumbs, 1 egg, beaten, 1 c. milk (substitute 1/2 c. evaporated plus 1/2 c. water) and 1 tbsp. horseradish, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Combine all ingredients, except 3 tablespoons catsup.
Pack in a greased 7 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf pan.
Spread remaining catsup on top.
Bake at 375Β° for 1 1/4 hours.
Gravy may be made from pan juices, if desired.
Ground lamb or veal may be used in place of beef.
