Tomato Gravy
Tomato Gravy is an easy dinner. Made with 1 can or 1 pt. tomatoes, 1/2 c. water (more or less), 1/2 c. flour, 1/3 c. cooking oil (bacon drippings may be used instead) and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Put cooking oil in skillet.
Sprinkle flour on top of oil; stir as it browns.
When brown, pour in tomatoes and water.
Stir constantly until gravy is thick.
