Tomato Casserole is an easy dinner. Made with 8 pieces toasted white bread, cut in large cubes, 2 sticks melted butter, 2 (16 oz.) cans tomato purée, 2 c. brown sugar and 1 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix purée, sugar and salt.
Add 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Boil for a few minutes.
Pour melted butter over bread.
Then pour purée mixture over bread.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° or 375° for 30 minutes.
