Toll House Marble Squares
Toll House Marble Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 1/4 c. and 2 tbsp. granulated sugar, 1/4 c. and 2 tbsp. brown sugar, 1/4 tsp. vanilla and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Mix butter, sugar, vanilla thoroughly.
Beat in the egg.
Blend in the flour, soda and salt.
Mix in walnuts.
Spread in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Sprinkle chocolate morsels over the top of the dough. Place in the oven 1 minute at 375Β°.
Remove from the oven and run a knife through the dough.
Return and bake 12 to 14 minutes.
Cut in 2 inch squares.
