Toffee Squares
Toffee Squares is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 c. packed brown sugar, 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp. vanilla and 2 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Cream butter, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla.
Stir in flour and salt until blended.
Put in a 13 x 9-inch greased pan; cook 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.
As soon as it comes out of the oven, sprinkle pieces of candy bar and spread with a knife.
Sprinkle nuts on top.
Cut while warm.
