Toffee Bar Cookies
Toffee Bar Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. light brown sugar, packed, 1 c. margarine, softened, 2 c. flour, sifted, 1 egg yolk and 1 tsp. vanilla, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

With electric mixer, cream brown sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
Add egg yolk and vanilla; beat until blended. Stir in flour until blended.
Press mixture into a 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan.
Bake in 350Β° oven until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
Melt Hershey bar in double boiler and spread immediately on hot cookies.
Sprinkle on pecans.
Cut into bars while warm. Makes 24 bars.
