Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. oleo, 2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 c. nuts and 6 milk chocolate bars, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine butter, sugar and 1 cup nuts.
Boil mixture until it turns light brown and has dark brown streaks, stirring constantly. Pour onto cookie sheet and spread evenly.
Place chocolate bars on top and spread.
Sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
