Toffee
Toffee is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 1 1/4 c. sugar, 2 tbsp. light corn syrup, 2 tbsp. water and 1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine butter, sugar, syrup and water.
Heat, stirring constantly until boiling. Boil to 300Β° (brittle stage, about 20 minutes).
Remove from heat.
Pour immediately on 10 x 15 x 1-inch pan lined with aluminum foil.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over top until melted.
Spread evenly.
Sprinkle ground pecans on top. Cool.
Break into pieces.
Yield
1 1/2 pounds.
