Tina's Pie Crust
Tina'S Pie Crust is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/3 c. shortening and 2 to 4 tbsp. ice water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
In medium bowl, combine flour and salt.
Using pastry blender or fork, cut shortening into flour until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add 1 tablespoon of water at a time while tossing and mixing with fork.
Add water until dough is moist enough to form ball when lightly pressed together.
Shape dough into a ball. Flatten ball into 1/2-inch thickness, rounding and smoothing edges.
