Thumbprint Cookies
Thumbprint Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. margarine, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/4 c. karo dark corn syrup, 1 egg, separated and 1 1/4 c. unsifted flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Mix margarine and sugar.
Stir in Karo, egg yolk and flour. Chill.
Roll into 1-inch balls.
Dip in slightly beaten egg white. Roll in nuts.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Press thumb in center of each cookie.
Bake in 325Β° oven about 20 minutes.
While warm, fill with jelly.
