Thirteen Vegetable Soup is an impressive dinner. Made with 2 lb. chuck roast, browned, 4 qt. water, 1 large onion, chopped, 1 large can whole tomatoes and 3 leeks, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Brown the chuck roast.
Save bones.
Bring water to a boil. On top of meat add Wyler's.
Add the onion, tomatoes, leeks and celery and cook for 2 hours.
Add turnips, cabbage, carrots and potatoes and cook for 30 minutes.
Add beans, lima beans, corn, okra and peas and cook for another 30 minutes.
