The World'S Best Cookies is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 c. butter (imperial margarine works well), 1 c. white sugar, 1 c. brown sugar, 1 egg and 1 c. wesson oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg, then oil, mixing well.
Add oats, cornflakes, coconut and nuts.
Add dry ingredients and vanilla.
Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Flatten slightly with back of spoon.
Bake 24 minutes or until light brown in a 325Β° oven.
Allow to cool on sheets before removing onto cooling racks.
