Texas Sheet Cake
Texas Sheet Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 c. (2 sticks) oleo and 1 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Grease and flour 15 x 11 x 1 1/2-inch pan.
Sift together and set aside the first 3 ingredients.
Combine and heat to boiling in 2-quart pot, stirring, the next 3 ingredients, then add to pot, flour mixture and beat with mixer until well blended.
Add last 3 ingredients and mix well.
Pour into pan and bake at 350Β° for 22 minutes.
Frost cake while still warm.
