In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar.
Measure into heavy saucepan, 2 sticks margarine, 7 tablespoons cocoa and water.
Heat to boiling, stirring well.
Add to flour-sugar mix and blend well.
In medium bowl, combine beaten eggs.
Stir soda into buttermilk.
Add to egg and vanilla.
Pour into flour mixture.
Add cocoa and pour into prepared pan.
Bake 25 minutes or until done.
