Texas Pralines
Texas Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. brown sugar, 2 c. white sugar, 1 c. evaporated milk, 3 tbsp. white corn syrup and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cook sugars, milk, syrup and salt to soft ball stage (236Β°). Remove from heat.
Add butter and flavoring.
Stir until syrup begins to thicken.
Add broken pecans and drop from a spoon into cakes on waxed paper placed on a cookie sheet.
Press pecan halves into surface, working quickly because pralines harden rapidly!
