Texas Chicken
Texas Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pkg. corn tortillas, 1 large fryer or hen, boiled, boned and cut into bite-size pieces, 1 large bell pepper, chopped, 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, grated and garlic salt to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Place layers of tortillas, torn and soaked in chicken broth on bottom of 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
Add, in layers, the green pepper, cheese, chicken and garlic salt.
Mix soups and pour over layers.
Add Ro-Tel tomatoes on top.
Bake at 375Β° for 30 to 40 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
