Tex Mex Dip
Tex Mex Dip is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 medium ripe avocados, 3 tbsp. lemon juice, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Layer on platter in this order
Spread bean dip on a large, shallow serving platter.
Peel, pit and mash avocados.
Add lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Combine sour cream, mayonnaise and taco seasoning; mix in separate bowl.
Layer avocado mixture over bean dip, then layer taco seasoning mixture over avocado layer.
Top with green onions, tomatoes and sliced black olives, then sprinkle Cheddar cheese over top of dip mixture.
Serve with large, round tortilla chips.
