Terrific Freezer Biscuits
Terrific Freezer Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. self-rising flour, 1 tbsp. sugar, 3 tsp. baking powder, pinch of cream of tartar and 3/4 c. shortening, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Combine dry ingredients in mixing bowl; mix until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add milk and egg together.
Mix well and turn out on a floured surface; knead several times.
Roll out to 3/4-inch thickness.
Cut out in 2 1/2-inch biscuits.
Put on a greased cookie sheet and freeze.
When biscuits have frozen, place in a plastic bag in the freezer and take out when needed.
Makes about 2 dozen.
