Teriyaki Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 to 6 chicken breasts, 1/2 c. medium sweet sherry, 1/2 c. soy sauce, 1/4 c. packed brown sugar and 2 cloves of crushed garlic, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Boil soy sauce and sherry, then stir in sugar and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring lightly.
Add garlic, pepper and oil.
Set aside; cool before using.
Marinate chicken breast for 3 hours (more for a stronger taste).
Discard any used marinade.
Can be used with pork, beef, fish or vegetables.
Any unused marinade will keep indefinitely.
