Tea Time Toast
Tea Time Toast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 cake yeast, 1/4 c. warm water, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. yellow corn meal and 3/4 c. scalded milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine yeast in warm water with pinch of sugar; set aside. In a large bowl, mix corn meal, hot water, milk, sugar, salt, butter, egg and yeast.
Mix well.
Add flour and soda; knead for 5 minutes.
Place dough in greased bowl and let rise 2 hours. Repeat; let rise second time for 1 hour.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 25 minutes.
I use pie pans.
