Tea Rolls
Tea Rolls is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. scalded milk, 1/4 c. sugar, 1/4 c. butter, 2 eggs and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
When milk is lukewarm, add yeast, then add 2 cups flour.
Beat well and let rise, then add the butter, sugar, salt and the 2 beaten eggs.
To this, add enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead well.
Let rise in a warm place, then shape into small rolls. Let rise in buttered pans.
Bake in a brisk oven at 375Β° for 15 minutes or more.
Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
