Tea Cakes
Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. butter or margarine, 2 eggs, 3 1/2 c. sifted flour, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 c. sour cream, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
Blend eggs and vanilla. Add other ingredients with sour cream.
Chill several hours or overnight.
On floured board roll out dough to 1/4 inch.
Cut with 3-inch cookie cutter.
Place on greased cookie sheet; sprinkle with sugar or powdered sugar.
Bake at 450Β° for 10 to 12 minutes. Yields 12 dozen.
