Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs and beat well.
Add flour, baking powder, salt and vanilla.
Knead a small amount at a time and roll out thinly.
Cut into halves.
Bake at 375Β° for 8 to 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
