Tea Cakes is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, 1 stick margarine, 1 egg, 1/2 tsp. lemon flavoring and 2 c. self-rising flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Cream sugar and margarine by hand or with mixer.
Add egg, mixing well.
Add lemon flavoring.
Gradually add flour until fairly stiff dough.
Roll into small balls and press on cookie sheet.
