Tea Cakes
Tea Cakes is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, 2 c. sugar, 5 eggs, 5 1/2 c. flour and 3 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Mix in a large bowl; cream the butter and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Combine the flour and baking powder.
Add to butter mixture alternately with milk.
Add flavoring and mix well. Place dough on a floured board and knead.
Roll dough to 1/2-inch thick and cut or roll out like biscuits.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350Β° for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen.
