Tea Cake
Tea Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 eggs, 1/2 lb. butter, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 3 c. flour and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Mix eggs and sugar thoroughly. Add warm melted butter.
Add flour, one cup at a time, stirring well after each cup.
Add baking powder, blending well. Add milk and flavoring, mixing well. Flour hands and dough so dough can be handled easily. Take a tablespoon at a time and press out thin on buttered pan or cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven at 350Β° until done.
