Tater Fried Chicken
Tater Fried Chicken is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up, 1/2 tsp. imitation butter salt, 1/4 c. butter or margarine, oregano (if desired) and 1 egg, slightly beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Combine egg, 2 tablespoons water and seasoned salt.
Dip chicken pieces into mixture, then roll in potato flakes.
Salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with oregano.
Melt butter or margarine in shallow baking pan and add the chicken pieces.
Bake in 375Β° oven about 1 hour or until all pieces are done.
