Tangy Rice
Tangy Rice is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pt. sour cream, 1 (4 oz.) can diced jalapeños, 4 c. cooked rice, 1/2 lb. jack cheese and 1/4 lb. cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Drain chiles.
Combine with sour cream, salt and pepper.
In a buttered casserole dish spread 1/3 of rice, layer with 1/2 of sour cream mixture and 1/2 of grated Jack cheese.
Repeat layers: rice, sour cream mix and Jack Cheese.
End with last 1/3 of rice.
Cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
Top with grated Cheddar cheese and bake uncovered for 5 minutes more.
