Tamale Soup
Tamale Soup is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef or turkey, 1 large onion, diced, 1 green bell pepper, diced, 1 c. frozen whole kernel corn and 4 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Brown meat and drain well.
Add onion and green pepper; cook until tender.
Add corn, water, bouillon, chili powder, tomatoes, salt and pepper.
Simmer 30 minutes or more until about 30 minutes before serving.
Cut tamales into bite size chunks and add to soup.
Gently stir and simmer for about 30 minutes.
Serve with tortillas or cornbread.
