Tamale Pie
Tamale Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 2 tsp. chili powder, 1 can condensed tomato soup, 1 c. chopped green peppers (optional) and 2 c. whole kernel corn or 1 large can, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat, cook beef and chili powder until well done, stirring to separate meat.
Remove from heat and drain off fat.
Stir in remaining ingredients except corn muffin mix.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low, cover and cook 5 minutes.
Pour into 2-quart casserole.
