Tamale Corn
Tamale Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 can cream-style corn, 1 can tamales, 1 c. american cheese, 3/4 c. milk and 1 egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Remove shucks from the tamales and reserve the liquid (3/4 cup).
Mix cream-style corn and mashed tamales.
Grate the cheese corn and tamales.
Add milk and egg. Add tomato liquid and chili powder.
Sprinkle crushed crackers on top and butter.
Serve as a meat.
Can be prepared a day ahead.
Stand a little when removed from oven before serving.
