Taffy Apple Salad
Taffy Apple Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained, 2 c. mini marshmallows, 1/2 c. sugar, 1 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar and 1 well beaten egg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Combine drained crushed pineapple and mini marshmallows. Refrigerate overnight or several hours.
In a small saucepan mix sugar, vinegar, egg, flour and juice from pineapple.
Cook until creamy and thick.
Refrigerate overnight or several hours.
After several hours or the next day, combine the ingredients with the red apples, peanuts and Cool Whip.
Chill.
