Taco Salad
Taco Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 or 2 lb. lean ground beef, 1/3 to 1/2 c. onion bits, 1/2 lb. crisp bacon, crumbled, 1 head lettuce and 1 or 2 tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Brown ground beef with onion bits and add crisp bacon, crumbled.
In large bowl, break up lettuce.
Cut up tomatoes, half or whole green pepper and Cheddar cheese.
Add meat mixture and beans.
Just before serving, toss with Western salad dressing and serve with nacho cheese chips.
The chips may be crumbled or eaten with the salad.
