Taco Pie
Taco Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/4 c. water, 1 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1 pkg. taco mix, 2 (9-inch) deep dish pie shells and 1 (16 oz.) jar salsa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Preheat oven to 400Β°.
Brown meat and drain.
Cook onion until tender.
Combine meat, onion, taco mix, salsa and tomato sauce.
Add water.
Add garlic, salt and oregano to taste.
Mix well.
Place ingredients in 1 pie shell and top with half of the cheese.
Place the second crust on top and seal.
Bake until pie shell is brown.
Remove from oven and place remaining cheese on top of pie while it is hot.
