Swiss Steak
Swiss Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. round steak, 2 tbsp. butter, 1 envelope dried onion soup, 1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped and 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes, drained, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Line 9 x 13-inch casserole with aluminum foil.
Place steak in pan.
Add butter, onion soup, bell pepper and drained tomatoes. Shake together in a jar soup, salt, tomato juice and cornstarch. Pour over steak.
Close foil tightly over steak.
Bake at 350Β° for 2 hours.
