Swiss Milk Tablet
Swiss Milk Tablet is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. white sugar, 4 oz. butter, 5 oz. milk, 5 fluid oz. water and 1 tin sweetened condensed milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Put sugar, butter, milk and water into a large pot and simmer slowly until all the sugar has melted.
Boil for about 15 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add condensed milk and continue boiling until soft ball stage.
Remove from heat; add vanilla essence and beat until thick.
Pour out onto tin tray to set and then cut into squares.
