Swiss Chard
Swiss Chard is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 to 3 c. cooked swiss chard, 2 cloves garlic, 1/4 c. onion or less, 1/3 c. olive oil or mazola oil and romano cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Wash Swiss chard well.
Let 3 cups of water with 1 tablespoon of salt come to a boil.
Put Swiss chard into boiling water.
Cover and let cook until tender.
Remove and let drain.
Saute garlic, onion and oil.
Add Swiss chard and add salt to taste.
Let simmer for 5 minutes, then add kidney beans.
Also add about 1/2 cup water.
Sprinkle Romano cheese.
Let simmer for another 5 minutes.
