Sweet Pickles from Dills
Sweet Pickles From Dills is an easy dinner. Made with 1 qt. dills (buy the cheaper ones), 1/2 water, 2 c. sugar and 1/2 vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Drain juice of dill pickles and pour boiling water over them and let cool.
Slice pickles, either across or the long way and cover with the following syrup
Boil sugar, water and vinegar. Pour over pickles.
Refrigerate until ready to eat (3 or 4 days). If you wish, you can add pickling spices tied in cheesecloth to the syrup when bringing to a boil.
These are delicious.
