Sweet Pickle Chips is an easy dinner. Made with 1 gal. whole dill pickles (any brand)*, 4 c. sugar, 8 tbsp. white vinegar and 1 tsp. alum powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Drain and rinse pickles.
Slice pickles 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick.
Stir into sugar mixture. (Do not use metal container or spoon.) Let stand 24 hours at room temperature; stir occasionally.
Put into jars and pour juice evenly into each jar.
Store in refrigerator one to two weeks.
