Sweet Cherry Mold
Sweet Cherry Mold is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 pkg. cherry jell-o, 1 c. boiling water, 1 c. cold water, 1 (no. 2 1/2) can bing cherries (i use two 1 lb. cans) and 1 (14 oz.) can crushed pineapple, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Dissolve gelatin in hot water; then add cold water.
Drain cherries and pineapple; add juice to gelatin mixture.
Place fruit in bottom of ring mold.
Pour half of slightly thickened gelatin over fruit.
Chill.
Whip cream; add cream cheese and whip until blended.
Add remaining gelatin; mix well.
Pour on top of chilled fruit mold.
Chill overnight.
Yields 8 servings.
