Swedish Nuts
Swedish Nuts is an easy dinner. Made with 2 egg whites, 1 c. sugar, dash of salt, 1 lb. shelled pecans and 1/2 c. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Preheat oven to 325°.
Put nuts on 11 by 15 jelly roll pan in oven to warm.
Meanwhile, make meringue by beating egg whites; adding sugar and salt.
Fold nuts into meringue.
Melt butter in same jelly roll pan.
Spread nut mixture in melted butter. Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
They are done when nuts are dry, brown and crispy.
Store in tin and place in refrigerator or freeze.
