Susie's Foolproof Roast
Susie'S Foolproof Roast is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 to 4 lb. arm, chuck or shoulder roast, 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 2 cans water (16 oz.), 1 large onion and 6 large potatoes, peeled but not cut up, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Rinse meat; place in roasting pan.
Surround the meat with the whole, peeled potatoes.
Cover the meat with the can of soup and sliced onions.
Pour 16 ounces of water around the meat.
Lightly sprinkle the entire contents with seasoned salt and pepper.
Cover with a lid or foil.
Bake at 350Β° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
(There should be plenty of juice to make gravy.)
